  We hired this company to do our 2016 taxes. We experienced an issue with filing and attempted to contact Jeffers and Co for two weeks via voicemail. We then emailed Julie Jeffers and said we would seek legal counsel if our calls weren't returned. Julie Jeffers contacted us back stating she wasn't required to call back any client. She also threatened to release our SSN's publicly if we voiced our concerns (threat was made on our business page when she reviewed us even though she never used our services - we hired her firm). If you are business owner, be aware of what the possibilities are if her company is hired).

  I hired this company to complete my 2016 business taxes as this was my first year in business and I wanted my taxes done right. I provided them with all needed information by the end of January. I didn't receive a phone call that my taxes were filed until 5 days before the deadline. I wasn't even granted the opportunity to review them prior to submission as promised. I was only told how much I owed and needed to pay by the following week. Long story short, In August I was looking for a transcript of my 2016 taxes on the IRS website and couldn't find any record. I immediately contacted Julie via email. She looked it up and it was discovered my taxes were rejected back in APRIL. After reviewing the rejection notice that she emailed me I realized THEY ENTERED THE WRONG SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER for my dependent. While I understood this was common human error on their behalf I still would expect due diligence after the rejection notice was received. I expressed my concerns and instead of her accepting responsibility for the mistake I was told that this was not an emergency for her as she was tending to her health. She also told me that I was a difficult client and reminded me of MY unprofessionalism. She told me that I shouldn't hire someone and not take their advice. She also told me my taxes were on extension and today I got home and realized that I got hit with a late "filing"penalty for filing my taxes FOUR MONTHS LATE. One last thing.....They mistakenly emailed me someone else's tax forms including their w2's and contribution statements. I emailed them back to inform them of the mistake and guess what? No response. I'm sure that person wouldn't feel comfortable knowing their information including their social security number was emailed to a complete stranger. These are all FACTS.
